Job Description:

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a NX Open developer to join our team at the Pratt & Whitney India Engineering Center (IEC) in Bengaluru India. Play a key role in providing our CAD user base a strong NX toolkit to help ensure our CAD model is produced efficiently and precisely. We are seeking a highly collaborative individual to assist in developing the tools and processes needed to automate the creation and validation of NX CAD data for Engineering, Manufacturing, and Inspection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with PLM team to help leverage automation and support NX user experience.

  • Support NX upgrades in the evaluation, development, and debugging of NX tool suite to support organization goals.

  • Program and maintain CAD validation checks using NX Checkmate per the direction of the NX business owners to ensure our CAD practices adhere to company standards.

  • Prepare, maintain, or update documentation of methods and tools.

  • Exhibit the ownership for the defined milestones in terms of schedules & quality of deliverables.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (with 8+ year experience) or Advanced degree (with 7+ year experience) in in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in NX open development using C/C++, Visual Basic, C#, Java, or Python.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with Siemens NX Checkmate and Knowledge Fusion.

  • Experience with NX modeling and drafting application.

  • Practical knowledge in Engineering, Manufacturing, and Inspection processes.
