A role with Pay and Benefits is all about the numbers. You’ll produce extensive benchmarking, rigorous market research and benefits analysis to inform the right compensation mix for roles across the company. Your point of view will be directly applied keeping Target competitive and standing out in the sea of other places candidates can choose. You’ll develop great relationships with our vendors to get the most out of our systems and resources. And you’ll help team members understand their benefits and how to maximize them.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads the development and successful implementation of Target in India (TII) Financial Benefits programs that have been conceptualized in conjunction with Pay & Benefits leaders.

For example, leading the enhancement and renewal of insurance (flexbenefits) program, leave policy, learning assistance program, daycare program, executive perqs etc.

  • Works in partnership with TII Pay & Benefits partners to build consensus and support for the India financial benefits Strategy.

  • Develops the approach for administering and monitoring financial benefits programs for Target in India.

  • Builds and manages relationships with local benefits consultants, vendors and peers. Looks for innovative ways to maximize the value that Target India receives from these relationships.

  • Works with Leaders, HRBPs and Talent Acquisition to effectively communicate Target India’s financial benefits philosophy and educate team members on the value of Total Rewards

  • Manages and monitors benefits and wellbeing processes and tools

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Experienced graduate in any discipline or MBA from any business school

  • Prior experience of 5+ years in the employee benefits space, preferably from a Technology/ITES or eCommerce organization.

  • Experience in vendor assessment, vendor relationship management, contracting and process design/governance.

  • Established network of peers in competitor organizations.

  • Awareness of market landscape and practices specifically in the area of benefits.

  • Strong on project management and problem-solving.
