What Our Expectations are
This role is to support Pratt & Whitney Canada’s Aftermarket. P&WC supports over 13 000 operators in the world with more than 40,000 active spare parts. In the spare parts team, we use data and analytics that allow to make the right decisions to meet our business objectives and meet our customer’s needs. We are looking for someone who will work as a Specialist for back-end support processes. If you like continuous improvement, new technologies and like a dynamic work environment, this opportunity is for you.
You will work directly with internal Spare parts groups (Sales, planning, management), with limited supervision and working in processes to enable strong internal process, with a specific emphasis on configuration management and Spare Parts pricing. This will require a strong ability to understand the processes, be reliable in delivering good service to internal stakeholders with high quality standards.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Compute multiple databases
Update systems resulting from configuration changes
Introduce-remove part numbers or related attributes in the systems-reports we use
Generate key reports/data sets to support day to day activities
Create-develop reports using different tools (SAP, Power bi, Python), VBA, BW)
Customer master database management
Propose solutions for short/Medium/long term
Required Qualification and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in computer science or industrial Engineering with 2-5 years of relevant work experience
Knowledge of SAP
Excellent MS Office (Excel / VBA) skills
Power BI knowledge an asset
Understanding and knowledge of coding language such as Python
Clear and effective communicator with strong communication skills
Team player with a passion for excellence
No travel requirement
Working evenings-nights to match North American working hours
