We are looking for a Principal Software Engineering Manager for the Edge customer experience team who embraces these roles and is excited by technology. We are part of the Edge & Platform organization delivering at-scale customer experience for all of Edge solutions – Azure Stack HCI, Azure Edge Hardware Centre, HCI Catalog.

Azure Stack HCI is a hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) operating system delivered as an Azure service. It provides the latest security, performance, and hybrid capabilities, which now include Azure Arc enablement and new management scenarios through the Azure portal.

Azure Edge Hardware Center is an Azure service that lets you order a variety of hardware or devices from the Azure hybrid portfolio.

This team is innovating new technologies for managing edge devices from Azure in a safe, secure, reliable, and scalable model for our global customers across various Azure Geographies.

We pride ourselves in developing technologies which enhance customer experience that enable running machine learning models close to the data source, using edge computing to address customer workload needs, managing edge appliances in Azure, and transferring data to Azure over the network.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced software engineer (UX) to help us drive new initiatives in this space, from ideation to delivery.  As a team, we are interested in motivated individuals with a positive can-do attitude and keen on learning. We value passion, creativity, teamwork, agility, accountability and desire to learn new complex technical areas.

Qualifications

Requirements:

BS/MS in computer science or equivalent experience

Deep understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript & CSS3

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

Expertise in building web apps and services using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Knockout, React & Redux

Experience in developing applications supported in multi browsers, understanding of browser caching, cookies and sessions

Understanding of design patterns like MVC and MVVM

Communicate effectively and partner well with other disciplines of the organization to deliver high quality solutions from ideas to production code.

Preferred : Prior experience of working of Azure or cloud services.
