Job Summary

The ServiceNow Solutions Engineer is an essential part of the ServiceNow Platform team, responsible for building and enhancing our ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate should possess deep functional and technical knowledge of the platform, with a proven track record in delivering medium to large scale implementations.

This “hands-on” role is highly visible and will leverage strong technical depth and knowledge to help build and maintain our platform capabilities and require good business intelligence to communicate effectively, both written and orally with our internal and external customers.

This includes evaluating business needs and proposing low-code solutions, performing due diligence to arrive at optimal technical solutions. Provide guidance and technical leadership in design and solutioning, ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture standards.

The ideal candidate is truly an explorer – finding potentially multiple ways to solve problems and making recommendations based on best practices, sustainability, and fit. He or she has exceptional communication skills with strong technical depth. In addition, he or she knows how to code expertly using one or more popular programming languages and can easily get up to speed on new and emerging technologies. Using APIs, building workflows, or integrating new features and capabilities is all in a day’s work for this individual.

Responsibilities:

· Deep Functional and Technical knowledge on the Platform, experience in delivering medium to large scale implementations.

· Evaluate business needs and propose suitable solutions for Low Code development, perform due diligence to arrive at an optimal solution considering technical feasibility.

· Provide guidance and technical leads on Design & Solutioning, Compliant with Enterprise Architecture.

· Experience in maintaining CMDBs, Asset Management and other Asset/Configuration Management repositories in the Organization. Excellent understanding of Infrastructure configurations, CI classes and their relationships.

· Integration Capabilities with third party applications using REST APIs, SOAP; Knowledge on Integration Hub and Flow Designer for creating Integrations and automating processes.

· Perform ServiceNow Platform Upgrades; Identify and address performance bottlenecks in ServiceNow Instances.

· Possess Knowledge on IT Operations Management, configurations & ITOM offerings.

· Good knowledge of Event Management, Discovery, Service Mappings and Knowledge on HRSD will be a value add.

· Experience in Performance Analytics and reporting.

Qualifications:

· ServiceNow Platform Expertise includes its architecture, table structure and core functionalities, Configuring and customizing ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, APM, CSM modules.

· Experience with knowledge management and using AI/ML based search and Automation Techniques.

· Hands on Experience with Flow Designers, REST APIs, P2P integrations with third party applications.

· Deep knowledge of scripting, strong technical understanding of ServiceNow framework and Architecture.

· Experience in version upgrades including Cloning, migration of data from instances.

· Experience/Understanding in key techs within ServiceNow like MID Server Administration, ACLs, ATFs, Performance Analytics.

· Create Technical documents & handbooks to present the application design, code & testing scripts.

· Experience with Agile SCRUM and SAFe methodologies preferred.

· Strong Understanding of Change & Release management & ITIL concepts.

· Preferably CSA, CAD certifications.
