We are looking for hands-on senior technical Leaders/Architects who strive in a dynamic start up like environment. You will be providing the design and technical vision for an expert team working on next generation AI-Edge data centre Server Platforms and products that enable cloud/datacentre scale deployments.

What You'll Do

Primary job responsibilities include Cisco UCS Rack Server BIOS development activities which includes design, development, debugging of system software related to Cisco UCS servers.

Participate in product development in all stages from planning and design to development and testing. Proactive in handling work including meeting schedules, identifying risks, and delivering high quality Firmware.

Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to clearly understand business objectives, customer needs, and product requirements.

Write functional specifications detailing required functionality and all other significant (design, unit test, Interface specs, etc.) documentation. Study industry specifications, vendor's hardware documentation, then enable them in platform.

Participation in code review, code analysis, requirements analysis, risk analysis, code profiling and tuning.

Ownership of through the platform lifecycle from bring up through sustenance.

Developing partnership with key collaborators (Program management, Prod Marketing, Tech marketing, interface design teams, validation, key vendors etc).

Debug and address real world BIOS, OS, Hardware and Device driver issues.

Desired Skills/Experience:

10+ years of strong BIOS/UEFI/Embedded background.

10+ years of experience with C programming language.

10+ years of experience with platform debugging skills.

Experience in working multi-functional and cross geo teams.

Excellent Communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to deal with ambiguity.

Experience in executing highly complicated platforms from day-0 to launch.

Experience in handling customer concerns and field issues.

Sound understanding of System Architecture and Operating Systems concepts.

Sound understanding of x86 architecture and exposed to various related industry standard.

Highly desirable Skills/Experience:

Experience with Debug BIOS, OS, hardware, and driver issues.

Experience with UEFI/Coreboot and other related industry platform standards.

Experience in Server and other related industry standards.

Knowledge Industry specs like ACPI/PCIE/SCSI/SAS/I3C/IPMI/SMBIOS/CXL etc.

Understanding of Networking.

Remote manageability knowledge.

Understanding of sophisticated software engineering processes and methodologies.
