Job Description :

Sr Engineer, Full Stack

One of the most innovative and high-profile teams in News Corp is looking for a Full Stack engineer to help accelerate its vision. The role will involve combining all of News Corp’s data across categories, countries and organizations into a singular view of a customer enabling engagement, measurement and targeting. The HQData Full Stack Engineer will partner closely with product, data & engineering teams to help make this data available and accessible to our businesses, teams and partners in order to drive revenue and improve the customer experience.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable software solutions using JavaScript.

  • Dive into browser internals to optimize performance and user experience.

  • Familiarity with SQL for data manipulation and analysis.

  • Utilize Git for version control and collaboration.

  • Conduct debugging and testing to ensure the reliability and stability of applications.

  • Implement and manage tag management solutions like Google Tag Management and TealiumIQ.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data governance and privacy policies are upheld.

  • A background in analytical product development.

Qualifications :

  • BTech/BE in Computer Science or other technical discipline

  • 4+ years of experience in designing and developing Javascript applications

  • Familiarity with browser internals( Cookies, Local Storage) and optimization techniques.

  • Familiarity with HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, and REST APIs

Good to have :

  • Familiarity with tag management tools like Google Tag Management and TealiumIQ is desirable.

  • Strong debugging and testing skills to ensure the quality of software solutions.

  • Understanding of data governance and privacy policies.
