Job Description:

  • This position is responsible for day-to-day administration of network Firewalls/VPN, IPS/IDS, Proxy systems, designed to protect networks and systems from malicious/unauthorized network access or misuse.

  • Primary responsibilities include, add or modification of Firewalls/VPN, IPS/IDS & Proxy rules/policies to meet customer requirements, validating user requests.

  • Troubleshooting Firewalls/VPN, IPS/IDS & Proxy fault conditions and coordinating deployment or rebuild efforts.

  • Provides 24x7 on-call support, which has roaster that is rotated.

  • Utilizes existing tools and leverage innovative solutions to automate tasks with an emphasis on scalability and reliability.

  • Provides technical support for activities that improve the security posture of client networks.

  • Updates incident, request and change management records.

  • Participate in problem management and RCA analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or a related field is required.

  • Strong experience in standard Enterprise Network Firewalls such as Check Point, Fortinet, and Palo Alto Networks (proficiency in any two technology).

  • Experience supporting Zscaler & Forcepoint Proxy technologies and policy management.

  • Experience on WAF solution on cloud such as Imperva, Akamai, F5, and Fortinet (proficiency in any two technology).

  • Ability to manage Provider-1 and/or Panorama management.

  • Self-motivated, attitude of ownership, and a strong desire to learn.

  • Demonstrated ability to systematically troubleshoot problems in complex systems and network environments.

  • Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Check Point Engineer (CCSE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Ethical Hacker, CompTIA Security+ certifications preferred.
