Key Responsibilties:

• 2D & 3D drawing creation and release as per TE standards and procedures through ECR/ECN processes.

• Collaborate with cross functional team to investigate and resolve technical production issues.

• Documenting/Updating product specifications.

• Takes ownership of assigned tasks, coordinates with respective stake holders until completion of the tasks.

• Support on new product development activities, ability to support on concept generation, DFMEA, tolerance stack up, DFM & DFA and basic FEA activities.

• Work on continuous improvement activities.

Education and Critical Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is necessary.

• 5+ years of experience in supporting product development activities.

• Working knowledge with usage of CAD systems (CREO preferred)

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings/product prints.

• Working knowledge in GD&T

• Working knowledge in Manufacturing process (Molding / Stamping / Plating)

• Fundamental knowledge of product development process/cycle

• Basic knowledge in Tolerance stack-up

• Experience in design of Plastics & Sheet Metal components
