We are looking for a Seasoned Engineering Manager to join our Office Platform team and lead our M365 developer program. You will be part of and lead a dynamic and diverse team that works on cutting-edge technologies and delivers innovative solutions that empower millions of developers around the world. You will work on challenging and complex problems that require creativity, collaboration, and a growth mindset. You will design and develop high quality, resilient and easily maintainable software that enhances developer experience and drives business value.

Responsibilities

As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing high quality, resilient and easily maintainable software.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional disciplines to drive design, development, testing, and release of software that enhances customer experience.

  • Deal with multiple partners/stakeholders,

  • Stay agile and composed when dealing with any incidents

  • Communicate effectively and direct work appropriately

  • Striving for engineering excellence by helping evolve development guidelines, engineering practices, tools, and process.

  • Building highly optimized experiences that delight the M365 developer community.

  • Fostering a data driven and experimentation approach to everything we do.

  • Building scalable systems

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would have the following experiences and skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in backend development.

  • 5+ years in managing high performance teams.

  • Expereince in SQL, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Micro Services,

  • Expereince inReact, Redux, TypeScript, Javascript, CSS, Entity Framework, ADF pipelines, Authentication stack

  • Security or fraud experience would be nice will be good to have

  • Ability to work independently and take on ambiguous challenges.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and a passion for learning new technologies.

  • Proven fundamental understanding of how to deliver end-to-end scenarios with security, reliability, and engineering quality in mind.
