We are seeking a seasoned developer who shares our passion for systems programming. As part of our team, you will play a role in advancing the Windows Driver Frameworks (WDF). WDF provides hundreds of APIs for both user-mode and kernel-mode drivers on Windows. These APIs offer simplified abstractions for power management, I/O requests, queues, direct memory access (DMA), memory management, timers, synchronization, and more. By leveraging the power of the Rust programming language, our mission is to further enhance platform reliability and security.

Responsibilities

  • Work within a team to design, implement, and test features in multiple areas

  • Drive feature development with high standards of performance, security, and reliability

  • Drive collaboration with different teams and counterparts in different location

  • Follow Agile or similar methodologies to deliver quality products

  • Drive culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team

  • Influence technical direction at an organizational level

Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

  • 12+ years of experience in software development

  • 4+ years of experience in designing, architecting and leading the development

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or related field

  • Excellent coding skills in C/C++ Background in systems programming, including experience with low-level APIs, memory management, and kernel-mode development

  • Proficiency in Rust programming language, with experience in writing idiomatic, and safe Rust code

  • Willingness to learn, and a proactive and positive attitude

  • Strong collaboration skills, able to work effectively in a team environment

  • Excellent problem solving skills and computer science basics

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in Windows Driver Frameworks (WDF), Kernel-Mode Driver Framework (KMDF) or User-Mode Driver Framework (UMDF) is preferred but not required

  • Familiarity with Windows Internals, understanding the Windows kernel architecture, I/O subsystem, and device drivers

  • Knowledge of hardware interfaces, bus protocols (such as USB, PCI), and device communication
