Cultural Experience & Service Delivery Lead APAC

Location/Division Specific Information

Discover Impactful Work: The Cultural Experience & Service Delivery Lead APAC plays a critical role in fostering a strong culture of technology and security awareness across Thermo Fisher Scientific. This role focuses not only on driving security awareness but also on enhancing service delivery within the APAC region.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, CIS Lead, Bangalore, and matrixing into the Director, CIS Service Delivery, this role is accountable for fostering key relationships across the APAC business landscape. The goal is to craft and implement customized strategies that actively engage and resonate with diverse cultural backgrounds, ensuring understanding and involvement. By demonstrating core cultural principles, this role aims to influence individuals' perceptions and sense of responsibility for security and technology.

A Day in the Life

· Drive global security awareness program strategies within the APAC region, adopting a data-driven approach to align with regional needs and cultural sensitivities.

· Establish and track key performance metrics to evaluate the efficiency of security awareness initiatives and communicate successes and areas for improvement to key customers.

· Maintain and promote the Security & Technology Ambassador program in the APAC region, serving as the primary contact for IT Leads and ambassadors.

· Collaborate with regional leadership to drive heightened security and CIS initiative awareness at both regional and local levels, while soliciting feedback to continuously strengthen and improve CIS services

· Provide project management support for key awareness and Service Delivery programs and initiatives, ensuring ongoing education and training to reinforce a digitally enabled workforce.

· Translate complicated technical concepts into easily understandable content tailored for non-technical audiences.

· Scale the existing CIS Service Delivery program and processes within the APAC region

· Collaborate closely and maintain positive relationships with customers, Strategy & Colleague Enablement (SCE) and Service Delivery team members and other cross-functional business professionals on both large- and small-scale projects.

Education

· BA/BS in Education, Communications, Computer Science or related field. Equivalent work experience is accepted.

Experience, Skills & Abilities

· Demonstrated experience in highlighting and addressing cultural differences effectively.

· Exceptional intercultural awareness with understanding on international business challenges.

· Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to lead multiple priorities simultaneously.

· Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across complementary teams and customers.

· Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and technologies preferred.

· Experience working in a global, multicultural environment.
