Job Description :

  • Identifying Opportunities : Role holder will understand the current Digital interfaces, processes and setup to identify strategic opportunities of systemic improvements. He/ she will be the functional expert and representative working as the bridge between the function, DT and the solution partner. The role holder will also identify the size of the opportunity and create a priority list to extract the maximum value.

  • Optimizing Processes : By evaluating current supply chain processes and identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement, the GM of Supply Chain Transformation leads initiatives to streamline operations, reduce costs, and increase efficiency throughout the supply chain network.

  • Solution Development and Delivery : Leveraging technology and digital solutions is essential for modernizing and transforming supply chain operations. The role leads the implementation of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, and Internet of Things (IoT) to improve visibility, traceability, and decision-making across the supply chain.

  • Driving Innovation : Innovation is key to staying ahead in the consumer goods industry. The role holder fosters a culture of innovation within the supply chain organization, encouraging creative thinking, experimentation, and collaboration to develop novel solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and create value for customers.

  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Being externally curious the roleholder should have the capability of tapping into an external ecosystem of a partner network. This may involve participating in industry associations, engaging with regulators, and responding to inquiries from stakeholders. Role holder should develop relationship with end users to identify opportunities, deploy co-created solutions and ensure adoption at high levels to maximize the ROI for the company.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for capability development of team on new products/ systems and analytics through identification of training needs.

  • Drive a performance driven culture in the team and increase Digital quotient of Supply members.

  • Driving cross functional projects impacting cost, internal customer SLAs and satisfaction resulting in measurable business impact

  • Bring analytics & data governance skills to deliver business insights

  • Drive effective governance, tracking, communication, and overall change management to ensure effective execution of projects

  • Identify opportunities of process automation to drive productivity and improve business outcomes

  • Transform the end to end processes with continuous improvement methodologies

  • Act as an internal consultant in process improvement and measurement approaches for support functions

  • Train the trainer at specific interventions.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams in identifying and driving transformational projects
