Applied Materials Electrical engineer in Bangalore, India

Must have:

Develop complete system architecture for Semiconductor equipment comprising low voltage AC power control, Low voltage & High voltage DC power supplies, I/O controls.

Strong knowledge and hands on experience with Electrical schematic development & cable design using Electrical software E3/Eplan and Mechanical CAD software.

Skilled on creating 2D drawings & Bill of Materials.

Expertise in Power circuit design according to electrical safety standards such as UL, NEC & NFPA Expertise in integration of various sensor instrumentation such as Temperature, Pressure, Flow, Vibration sensors.

Demonstrate system level approach with complete verification and validation model & Design optimization for new product development.

Expertise in Electro-mechanical design comprising closed loop control system design with pressure regulators, servo valves, pneumatic valves.

Engineering design process such as Proof of concept, feasibility study, final implementation, and Design of Experiments Exposure to selection of servo motors, amplifiers for various load conditions and PID/PIV tuning methods.

Power control design and closed loop temperature controls design for various heating applications such as Resistive element heaters, Lamp heaters.

Possess knowledge about different types of lamp behavior for electrical and thermal properties.

Exposure to temperature measurement solutions for various material types, including contact & non-contact measurements in vacuum applications.

Possess hands on experience dealing with Thermocouple, RTD / Pyrometers / Fiber optic probes.

Possess good knowledge in Industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet, DeviceNet, EtherCAT, Serial RS232/485.

Ability to develop system safety application and implement safety circuits, interlock logic.

Strong analytical skills & problem-solving techniques. Demonstrate process improvement capability in areas such as cycle time improvements, reducing trouble shooting time.

Advantageous to have:

Exposure to server-based controls architecture.

Experience in PCB schematics and packaging software like ORCAD, PCAD etc.

Strong with design calculations such as pressure, electrical power load balancing for single phase and 3 phase circuits, DFT for vibration measurements, etc.

Knowledge about RF Generators, RF Matching networks, RF power transmission and measurements.

Understanding of Reliability engineering aspects such as MTBF, MWBC, FMECA, CRAMS Experience in managing.
