Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business process architecture for our global supply chain function.

  • Conduct process analysis and identify areas for improvement, including cost reduction, process optimization, and resource optimization.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define functional specifications for process enhancements.

  • Design and document streamlined end-to-end business processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Drive change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies.

  • Monitor and evaluate process performance metrics, identify trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Manage project timelines and deliverables related to process improvement initiatives.

  • Willingness to work with stakeholders across different time zones globally.

  • Flexibility to work across different time zones to ensure seamless communication and collaboration with stake holders.

  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on data insights to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.

Competencies And Experience Required/Desired

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in business process architecture, preferably in a global supply chain environment.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading business transformation projects.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes in SAP, including procurement, production planning, logistics, and distribution.

  • Proficient in process modeling and mapping techniques, using tools such as BPMN.

  • Hands on experience in Process Mining/task mining tools like, Celonis, Process advisor, SAP Ignavio, SAP LeanIX.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify key issues and propose effective solutions

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and drive consensus.
