The Role

As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.

There’s never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Here are the individual tasks:

• You will be responsible for designing, designing, implementing, and documenting Azure Network &

Infrastructure solutions

• You design, deploy and maintain highly available, robust and scalable cloud systems and services

• If something goes wrong, you perform root cause analyzes in our production environments

• You independently undertake the pilot implementation of new components and seek state-of-the-art

solutions for technically difficult problems

• You ensure optimal performance and security through analyzes and alerting across all components and

system components

• You implement compliance-as-code pipelines

Qualifications:

• You have a very good degree in computer science, software engineering, media or business informatics

or otherwise acquired knowledge

• Experience in cloud network design (Azure, NVA, firewalls and Aviatrix as plus)

• Confidently deploying and testing Azure resources - preferably with Pulumi

• Hands-on experience with Azure pipelines and CI/CD methods (Azure DevOps)

• Data modeling and persistence with relational databases

• Programming skills in Python-ideally also in Powershell

• Git "native"

• Several years of professional experience in agile methods (scrum, structural verification vehicle) in a

complex and highly dynamic project environment, methodical experience to map complex facts

• Experience in technical implementation (best based on Microsoft Azure) of complex customer

requirements in large teams is a plus for you

• You work fluently with the associated tools of the Atlassian Suite

• High self-motivation and passion for big data and AI at Mercedes-Benz

• As a team player, you regularly demonstrate your communication skills and openness in new and

challenging fields

• But most importantly: You enjoy working with new technologies, and you love to jump into new topics.
