Job Title: Assistant Manager -Talent Acquisition

Summary:The Talent Acquisition Specialist is an integral role within Momentive’s Talent Center of Excellence. This role will primarily support and anchor Talent Acquisition in the region and contribute to the overall success of the team by providing a high level of customer service, candidate experience, administrative support, niche skill identification and project coordination throughout the recruiting process. The Specialist is responsible for full cycle recruiting activities for professional employees in India. The specialist is responsible for timely salary negotiations and offer actions for shortlisted candidates.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop positive relationships with hiring managers globally, external partners/recruiters, and candidates.

  • Lead intake discussions to ensure we identify the right candidates to fill requisitions quickly. Create talent pipelines for key roles in advance of an active requisition as needed.

  • Develop appropriate sourcing strategies including new tools and techniques to identify and establish diverse talent pipelines.

  • Maintain information in Workday, our applicant tracking system.

  • Review candidate profiles, conduct effective screening interviews and recommend candidates to the next steps of the recruitment process that are aligned to the targeted position and business requirements.

  • Facilitate debrief meetings with hiring teams and provide timely feedback to the candidate/s.

  • Leverage external recruitment vendors where appropriate.

  • Contribute to TA-focused projects for continuous improvement. Support the CoE and Human Resources in the performance of various other responsibilities and projects.

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

  • Bachelor’s in Human Resources

  • 6+ yrs experience in corporate recruitment

  • Strong understanding of recruitment process and best practices

  • Demonstrated and innovative success using different forums of social media, job boards.

  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, adept to engaging with stakeholders and candidates across all levels.

  • Strong communication skills including verbal, written, presentation and listening skills.

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and on-line search & candidate sourcing techniques.
