Roles & Responsibilities:

Background

The scope of work is to support Engineering Studies that may occur at any phase of the project development or life of an asset. During the EPC phase, the engineering studies are required in conceptual, pre-FEED, FEED and detail engineering. During equipment operation phase, the typical studies involve integrity, fit-for-service (FFS), etc. The typical static & thermal equipment includes valves, pressure vessels (reactors, columns, drums…), heat exchangers, air coolers, storage tanks (atmospheric & pressurized), Furnaces, Burners, Boilers, Flares, incinerators, Thermal oxidizers, Heat recovery equipment (WHRU, HRSG, WHB) & fired heaters, etc.

Expectations

  1. Mechanical engineer with working experience in Upstream (Offshore_Topside & Onshore) & Downstream (Refining, Petrochemicals & Polymers) static & thermal equipment

  2. Engineer shall be competent to review P&ID, Lists (line, equipment, tie-in, Material take-off (MTO))

  3. Engineer shall be able to review mechanical data sheets of manual valves, actuated on/off valves, pressure vessels, thermal equipment includes Furnaces, Burners, Boilers, Flares, incinerators, Thermal oxidizers, Heat recovery equipment (WHRU, HRSG, WHB) & fired heaters, etc.

  4. Engineer shall be competent in pre-sizing of equipment (e.g. pressure vessels)

  5. Engineer shall be able to review of project particular specifications, with potential gap analysis, against the agreed Project referential

  6. Engineer shall have knowledge on Integrity assessment of static & Thermal equipment and develop Risk Matrix along with Risk Mitigation Strategies

  7. Engineer shall be able to review material specifications and corrosion engineering knowledge.

  8. Engineer shall be able to understand insulation materials and relevant applications.

  9. Engineer shall have knowledge on Integrity assessment of Static & Thermal equipment and develop Risk Matrix along with Risk Mitigation Strategies

  10. Engineer shall be competent to perform RBI studies to optimize the maintenance and business expenditure, incurred for assuring asset integrity

  11. Engineer will be focal for all technical exchanges and manage technical Interface seamlessly.

  12. Engineer will propose new possible workflow, using his domain expertise and perform POC (proof-of-concepts) to give confidence to COMPANY

Engineer will perform the smooth transition of new workflow to India

  • Software Skills: Hardware / Domain Knowledge

  • Microsoft Office tools: Meridium,PVELITEHTRI / HEXTRAN,PDMS,AutoCAD

  • Knowledge of Onshore / Offshore / LNG / structures.

  • Proficient in ASME Sec VIII, TEMA

  • Proficient in standards like API 510, API 653, API 660, API 661, API 560, API 530, API 556, API 535, API 573, API 521
