Roles & Responsibilities:

· Provide technical and thought leadership to the team and support the needs of the team.

· Formulate designs from the requirements and drive the design reviews

· Work with a team of like-minded professionals to create detailed execution plans, monitor the progress, maintain the sanity of the engineering process, and drive the team to achieve planned end goals.

· Identify and mitigate potential risks.

· Influence other teams and broader Engineering groups in adopting best practices.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

· Expertise in software design & development with strong knowledge in Programming languages and technologies like.

  • HTML5, CSS, JavaScript

  • Java/J2EE, Core Spring, Spring Web flow, Spring MVC, jQuery/JavaScript

  • Microservices with Java

  • Jasper Report, JPA, Easymock/Junit,

  • Expert knowledge of complex SQL programming.

  • REST APIs

  • Knowledge in AWS.

· In-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented concepts and Design Patterns, Good exposure to Design principles & Patterns, Domain Driven Design, event-base design and Microservices architecture and best practices

· Good experience any of messaging frameworks (RabbitMQ, Kafka etc.)

· Unit and system testing of application code as well as execution of implementation activities.

· Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills on microservices.

· Should be proactive and have the intellect to explore and come up with solution to complex technical issues

· Good understanding of Agile DevOps design, development, testing, and release of new capabilities and features with focus on release and post-production support.

· Take ownership of assigned jobs that are part of new feature implementations, bug fixes and enhancement activities

· Technical communication with internal and external stake holders will be part of job.

· Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools.

· Strong understanding of cloud-based architectures and microservices.

· Knowledge in AWS services like S3, EC2, RDS, SNS, SQS, SES, Amazon MQ.

Would be a plus:

· Exposure to Agile

· Preferred understanding of Jenkins, Git and CI/CD

· Experience in Medical Domain.

· Knowledge in Health Care Standards & regulations like DICOM, HL-7, FHIR, IHE, HIPPA
