Expectations

  1. Chemical engineer with experience of working for Exploration and Production (E&P) assets. He / She must has worked with process of Onshore / Offshore / LNG / Gas treatment facilities.

  2. Expert shall be competent to perform System level studies. Examples of systems are - Separation, Gas Processing, Gas compression, Flare Systems (HP, LP), Vent Systems (HP, LP) etc...

  3. Expert shall guide the PQLA engineer who will collect data for identified Assets in the areas of Energy Use, Venting, and Flaring. They will analyze the values and quantify GHG, fill appropriate templates and provide technical recommendations for GHG reduction.

  4. Expert shall guide Engineers on Process Simulations, calculations and develop Heat & Mass Balance as required.

  5. Expertise in developing and reviewing process documents like PFDs, PSFDs, P&IDs, C&EDs, Safe charts.

  6. Proven skills in routine process calculations [Blowdown/Depressurization(MDMT) studies, Heat dissipation study, Thermal design of Heat exchanger, Compressor/Pipeline surge analysis, Line & Equipment sizing]

  • As part of revamp studies : to predict performances of existing equipment expected to operate in different conditions (including risk analysis of vibration)

  • As part of troubleshooting studies : to compare actual performances vs. theoretical ones

  1. Endorsement of Equipment Datasheets and Instrument process datasheet for Control valves, Flow elements and Pressure Safety Valves

  2. Validate process design summary and description

  3. Working knowledge of PI modules viz. PI Processbook, PI Vision, PI data extraction is preferred.

  4. Expert shall be competent to provide recommendations on GHG reduction. The individuals shall operate with minimal supervision

  5. Expertise in HAZOP & HAZID studies

  6. Expert will assist the team for all technical exchanges and ensure technical Interface seamlessly.

Preferred Experience

15+ Years experience in upstream processes

•Understand relationship of process variables to energy and CO2 reductions.

• Process simulation

• Understand industry flaring norms and variables to monitor and minimize

• Flare gas recovery experience

• Project development
