Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Experience in Hands-on execution of Aerostructures composite/Metallic concessions .

  • Approved Design Signatory (T200) for concessions work

  • To prepare the design solution report to remove the non-conformance which includes necessary drawing pack & DPDS checks.

  • Reporting critical technical issues up through functional management.

  • Lead ongoing continuous improvement initiatives to increase team efficiency through methods, process and other capability improvements

  • Understand the design solution and provide resolution to the identified non-conformances duly following customer methods and processes – adept at leveraging previous solutions for clearing the non-conformance with appropriate solution and with good quality.

  • Coordinate with stress assessment team for design solution verifications.

  • Analysis of production/ in-service non conformities (concession/repairs)

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

  • Work experience on the Design Assessment/Validation of FAL/Pre-FAL ATA 53 & ATA 55 concessions (composite/ metallic)

  • Ability to understand Load path on Wing/fuselage structure

  • Having knowledge on Primary and Secondary Structures of Aircraft.

  • Hands-on experience of working on the Design Assessment of concessions for Aircraft fuselage / Wing components viz. f uselage components include skin, stringers, frames, center wing box, central/nose fuselage, air inlet, keel beam and assembly

  • Hands-on execution of Aerostructure composite/Metallic concessions

  • In depth Knowledge/work experience on drawing reading

  • In depth Knowledge/work experience on Customer concession Methods & Process

  • Good understanding of Airbus standards (SRM/ASR) of working procedures applicable in fuselage concessions

  • Good understanding of Stress requirements & strength of materials.

  • In depth tool Knowledge/Hands-on execution on CATIA , SAP, AIRINA, VPM, PASS/SSI .

  • Understand the standards and working procedures applicable in concessions.

  • Desirable to have knowledge of GD&T
