Job Description Summary

The Lean Associate will provide execute and guide development of Lean (continuous improvement) projects in plant operations area, promoting understanding and applications of Lean principles, execute tactical support within the Site Manufacturing facility in the development and sustainment of an improvement program aligned with the business imperatives.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating Lean improvement project portfolio.

  • Coordinating the development of line process flow. Organizing Lean Action Work Outs for site manufacturing facility

  • Assist in the development of SOP’s specifically focused on plant manufacturing processes.

  • Leading Lean improvement projects from define phase till implementation.

  • Work with selected function on how to develop Lean mindset and Lean oriented processes to improve efficiency and standardize work.

  • Partner with plant line staff to collect observations, ideas, and solutions. Provide ongoing guidance/training on Lean.

  • Gather best practices. Own shop operation quality metrics and drive systematical analysis & improvement actions.

  • Lean Project implementation at all its stages according to the PDCA methodology

  • Organization of the Kaizen AWO workshops in accordance with the pre-defined Lean Project plan.

  • Ensure the Lean tools such as Standard Work, 5S etc are in proper use at the defined area

  • Realize the Site Lean implementation plan according to the company Lean strategy

General Qualifications:

  • A Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business/Management, or Engineering from a local or internationally reputable university

  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion and handle multiple tasks.

  • In Lean Action Workout Experience or other hands-on experience in Lean deployment and driving changes in production shop floor through strategic projects,

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in driving project

  • Good interpersonal & communication skills, and leadership capability.

  • Ability to work across organizational lines (within the facility, regional, and global organization)

  • Willing to accept challenging assignments, passion to drive change,

  • Able to motivate and lead others through continuous improvement actions.

  • Fluent English skill both in written and oral.

  • Excellent PC skill with Microsoft Office & SAP, etc.

  • Ability and willingness to travel as required, and

  • Willing to stay in Bandung.
