Aspen Medical Project Manager in Bamako, Mali

Aspen Medical is seeking Healthcare professionals to be part of a pioneering project aimed at establishing Primary Health clinics and medical evacuation support in Mopti, Mali, catering to an NGO agency employee and their families. 

Responsibilities: 

The position of Project Manager involves overseeing primary care and emergency clinic operations, including on aeromedical evacuations in remote Mali regions.  

Responsibilities include strategic planning for evacuations, resource coordination, collaboration with stakeholders, leading emergency responses, ensuring quality assurance and compliance, analyzing data, leading teams, organizing training, managing budgets, and assessing risks associated with remote healthcare delivery and aeromedical evacuations. Serving as a point of contact for teams and communicating with executives. 

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience (3 years) as emergency medicine doctor.

  • In-depth knowledge of primary care, emergency medicine, and aeromedical evacuation protocols. 

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams in high-pressure situations. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders. 

  • Familiarity with the healthcare landscape in Mali or similar remote, resource-constrained regions is advantageous. 

  • English is mandatory and French speaker are preferred
