About Us: Maryland Treatment Centers Inc., provides a comprehensive continuum of treatment for persons of all ages with problems involving substance use. We feature specialty services for young adults and adults. Clinical programs include assessment, residential/inpatient, detoxification, day treatment, intensive outpatient and outpatient substance abuse, dual diagnosis, mental health, special education and prevention services. Our programs are accredited by the Joint Commission (JCAHO). We are currently searching for PRN (as needed) Nurses in our Baltimore location! LPN or RN welcomed to apply! Shift availability is Friday, Saturday & Sunday (Day & Evening Shifts) Responsibilities: • Medical record keeping • General nursing care to patients • Demonstrates the ability to effectively assess and document the needs of patients • Demonstrates appropriate and effective verbal communication with patients • Responds effectively and appropriately in crisis Minimum Requirements: • At least 21 Years of Age • AA degree in Nursing • 1 Year of experience • Nurses must be licensed through the state of Maryland Department of Health and Hygiene. • Good organizational and documentation skills Bonus Points: • RTC experience • Mental health / substance abuse experience
