Description/Job Summary

This position provides direct support for: student advisement and registration, administration of pre-and post-testing, recruitment of students, promotion of classes in the community, data collection, and administrative support for instruction.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Coordinate and conduct student registration, as well as process student registrations and related student enrollment and update forms.

  • Conduct testing and scoring of pre- and post-assessments; advise students; assign instructional level and provide educational information to other on- or off-campus sites as necessary.

  • Maintain student data, prepare student enrollment, attendance, and update reports.

  • Provide support for teacher; create hard and soft copies of instructional materials

  • Assist with the creation and distribution of recruitment flyers/posters; maintain and improve social media accounts.

  • Assist with recruitment efforts at community outreach events.

  • Type documents and forms.

  • Answer and respond to inquiries about ESL via phone, email, and in-person.

  • Work cooperatively with other members in the Division and College on projects and initiatives, and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Education, TESOL, or related field; minimum of 1 year administrative or related work experience; minimum intermediate level written and spoken Spanish

  • Master's Degree
