Description

Job Title: Senior Data Analyst (Data Analyst IV)

Location: Onsite in Owings Mills preferred; Remote work considered for the right candidate

Project: Support within RPS and data sets to aid decision making, focusing on advisor data cleanliness and analysis.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our team, responsible for coordinating database changes, testing, and implementation. The ideal candidate will possess advanced SQL skills, experience in data reporting and reconciliation, and the ability to communicate effectively with teams. This role requires familiarity with Oracle and DB2 and demands a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior management, technical teams, and clients to determine data requirements and implementation strategies.

  • Develop logical and physical database descriptions, and oversee coding and implementation processes.

  • Design, implement, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise data ETL processes.

  • Modify existing databases and management systems as needed, and troubleshoot errors.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., computer science, computer engineering) required.

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience.

  • Proficiency in SQL for querying, coding, reporting, and data extraction, with the ability to integrate databases.

  • Experience with database technologies and the ETL process.

  • Knowledge of at least one scripting language.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

  • Demonstrated success in previous roles.

  • Enthusiasm for leveraging data to drive business decisions.
