**Customer Service Representative Small manufacturing / office supply company seeking hardworking and dependable employees for CSR position in Baltimore City. The primary role is to assist the sales team and management with projects and campaigns. Must have excellent customer service skills. Prior office skills and/or experience are a plus. Applicant should be able to type at least 40wpm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. **

  • Develop customer relationships that promote retention and loyalty.
  • Work closely with customers to ensure they are satisfied with the services they receive.
  • Process and enter customer orders and payments into accounting system.
  • Enter detailed payment information into spreadsheet for Virtual Assistants.
  • Contacting customers with past due amounts to get payment status.
  • Improve upon areas of customer dissatisfaction.
  • Track all issues and follow up to make sure that they are resolved to the customers satisfaction.
  • Assistance with recurring customer issues to determine root cause and provide input to help develop solutions.
  • Manage customer escalations by collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with new account implementations.
  • Assist sales team with request for quotes and customer pricing submittals.
  • Submittal of support request for Pricing team assignment and review
  • Schedule and dispatch service calls and deliveries
  • Place supply orders

LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend instructions, business correspondence, and memos. Ability to write business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

**MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
