Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor (non-tenure track) in the Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery The University of Maryland, Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery, is seeking a full-time board-certified or board-eligible oral and maxillofacial surgeon for the position of Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor (non-tenure track) in the Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery. The highly qualified individual will be fellowship-trained in head and neck surgical oncology and microvascular reconstructive surgery. Additional experience in head and neck nerve repair is also desired. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellence in clinical care, clinical teaching, and scholarly activity. The applicant will work closely with the fellowship program, residency training program, and undergraduate dental program established at the University of Maryland. The successful applicant will be expected to participate in the facial trauma call schedule at the University of Maryland and Shock Trauma Center. Academic rank and salary will be determined based on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. Receipt of a DDS, DMD & MD required. Candidates must be eligible to acquire a license to practice both dentistry and medicine in the State of Maryland. Applications will be reviewed and accepted until the position is filled.
