CareFirst Client Success Director - Labor Markets (Hybrid MD/DC/VA) in Baltimore, Maryland

Resp & Qualifications

PURPOSE:

The Client Success Director is a consultative leader within sales team who establishes and drives mutually beneficial relationships with key clients, national consulting houses, large brokerage firms, Third Party Administrators, and other major influencers in the region to renew and grow the Taft-Hartley book of business. Leads sales initiatives and strategies within their assigned territory. Achieves sales and profitability objectives by effectively managing new and existing accounts.

This position is HYBRID with frequent travel in the DMV.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Manages and develops a set of assigned accounts to increase productivity and sales of company products.

Develops relationships with key individuals (Fund Staff, Trustees and Plan Professionals) inside account base and investigates and resolves obstacles to success.

Develops relationships with industry partners and educates on the company offering to influence sales activity.

Collaborates with Sales team to identify targets and to coordinate sales and support efforts.

Fosters positive and productive relationships with clientele and communicates information to management that is vital to successful relationships.

Attends industry association meetings and trade shows, as necessary.

Interfaces with various departments within the organization related to client development and retention.

Stays up to date with new company product release features to properly respond to inquiries.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position has no direct reports, however, may informally lead teams in a matrix environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.

Experience: 15 years health care or industry related sales and/or customer relationship management experience in the Taft-Hatley market.

Licenses/Certifications:

Valid Health/Life License in Maryland, Virginia, and/or District of Columbia Upon Hire Required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

Knowledge and understanding of CRM, Salesforce, and other client management tools.

Ability to assess strategic implications and develop recommendations.

Highly developed analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize and create a cohesive picture and messages from a variety of information types and sources.

Microsoft Office programs.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Travel Requirements:

Estimate Amount: 50% Frequent travel required.

Salary Range: $116,000 - $188,500
