Curtis Lumber's Operations Specialist is responsible for using specialized equipment/tools and forklifts for purposes of the gathering and staging of specific products and/or materials to safely build loads for customer deliveries. Operations specialist responsibilities require an advanced skill set to support monitoring inventory levels, stocking racks, and prepping for future orders while keeping a safe and clean working area.

  • Full Time 40+ hours per week

  • Work outside year-round

  • Ensure that each order is done correctly and in a timely manner.

  • Stage loads effectively for safe delivery ensuring loads are properly covered when required.

  • Keep open professional communication between supervisor and dispatch.

  • Maintain a neat clean working environment as well as monitoring and communicating stock levels.

  • Communicate with management about any problems and or complaints that may arise.

  • Perform pre trip inspections on forklift daily.

  • Inspect and maintain supplies and equipment, to ensure that all are in proper working condition.

  • Report any mechanical problems encountered with fork truck and associated equipment.

  • Safe and proper use of equipment and associated PPE to be maintained at all times.

  • Advanced skill set with specialized equipment/tools

  • Advanced product, staging, and loading knowledge

  • Must wear PPE

  • Paid weekly on Fridays

  • Discretionary profit share after one year of employment

  • Six paid holidays and PTO Immediately
