Jabra Audio DSP Engineer in Ballerup, Denmark

We are looking for an Audio DSP Engineer for our Audio DSP team who wants to work with various aspects of the audio platform including algorithms, implementation, and software development.

The team you will be part of

You are joining 15 highly skilled and dedicated colleagues. We are further split into agile teams each with max 8 developers, 1 scrum master, and 1 product owner. We are a multicultural team, with members from several countries. The team is a mix of local and remote colleagues, so we hold many online meetings. We have a flexible and casual working culture.

Among others, we work with DSP, DSP architecture, embedded development, interfaces like I2S/TDM and C/C++ as well as SW development tools like VS Code, Git and code review tools.

While there are plenty of opportunities for each of our team members to develop their own personal skill set, we are first and foremost a team – that performs, succeeds, and fails as a team.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • You will be developing code for an Audio DSP platform used in Jabra headsets, earbuds, and speakerphones. You will be working with design, implementation, Platform integration, testing, debugging, profiling, and documenting audio algorithms.

  • You will be a part of the team making sure that new chipsets and SDK platforms performs and integrates into existing GN systems seen from an Audio DSP perspective.

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you

  • Have a relevant degree within e.g., electrical engineering, computer science, acoustical engineering or similar

  • Have experience working with audio in Bluetooth chipsets, Qualcomm QCC series SOCs or other chipsets using Tensilica HiFi cores

  • Having experience within embedded debugging and debugging embedded DSP is an advantage

  • Have an interest in working with audio DSP

  • Have experience with both fixed and floating-point signal processing

  • It is an advantage if you have worked with audio or video applications

  • You have experience with version control systems, for instance, Git, is a bonus

  • Fluently in written and spoken English
