Bakersfield Memorial Hospital is a 426 bed acute care medical center offering a full range of services including the Sarvanand Heart and Brain Center Grossman Burn Center at Memorial Hospital expanded maternity and family care the Lauren Small Children’s Center orthopedic services wound care center 24-hour emergency care and general/outpatient surgery. Operates Radiographic equipment to produce radiographs (xrays), under the general direction of the Supervisor/Imaging Director. Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement and the use of ingenuity and initiative. Ensures safe operation and care of Radiology equipment and exposure of patients to radiation for diagnostic information. Must be able to provide professional and quality care while following hospital policies, procedures and standards.
Minimum Qualifications :
Must have a minimum of three years (3) experience as a staff technologist with at least one (1) year experience in one specialty field.
Will actively work in both Radiology and second specialty CRT & Fluoroscopy Permit certification required.
BLS certification required. ARRT certification in one of the following Mammography, Computed Tomography,or MRI required for second modality.
Must spend at least 25% of clinical time working in the specialties
