ASM Global Marketing Intern in Bakersfield, California

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote events and drive ticket sales.

  • Create compelling content for social media platforms, website, email newsletters, and other marketing channels.

  • Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and respond to inquiries and comments in a timely manner.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of promotional events, contests, and giveaways.

  • Collaborate with graphic designers, photographers, and videographers to create visually appealing marketing materials.

  • Conduct market research and analyze marketing data to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Assist with updating website content and maintaining event listings.

  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and engaging content creation.

  • Knowledge of social media platforms and experience managing social media accounts for business or personal use.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Experience with graphic design or video editing software is a plus, but not required.

  • Interest in entertainment, events, and the performing arts.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
