Local clinic is seeking candidates for a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker. REQUIREMENTS: * Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) current certification, unencumbered. * Possess a valid driver\'s license. * Knowledge of comprehensive community mental health services. * Experience dealing with mentally ill, developmentally disabled and substance abuse affected persons. * Pass pre-employment drug screening. PREFERENCES: * Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) * Current CPR and First Aid certification. JOB DUTIES: * Facilitate/co-facilitate groups, assessments and treatment planning and provide one-on-one counseling. Provide after care planning, edu-therapy groups and maintain all records and caseloads as assigned. * Screen potential clients as needed and conduct mental health/drug and alcohol assessments * When assigned a new client, conduct a mental health assessment according to EOCCO, OAR\'s & ORS guidelines and rules and develop an individualized treatment plan with the client. * Evidence based counseling. * Case management to include communicating with primary care physicians, mental health provider and pharmacy. Case management might also include helping client with transportation, housing, educational and medical needs; and make referrals to other community services. * Progress notes for each F/F contact, case management, environment interventions, etc. * Attend weekly treatment team meeting, participate in group and individual supervision (as a provider of mental health treatment), and stay abreast of various diagnoses and treatment modalities; participate in civil commitment process including investigation and examination, once trained. * This position may occasionally be required to stand; stoop, kneel or crouch; climb or balance; lift up to 20 pounds. HOURS: * Tuesday - Thursday, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm CLOSING DATE: * Open until filled. EMPLOYER COMMENTS: * Must have experience in dealing with mentally ill, developmentally disabled and substance abuse affected persons and be able to understand the behavior of people under stress, having knowledge of co-occurring disorders and the treatment of these disorders. * Must be computer literate to utilize word processing and other software programs. * Must adhere to rules and laws pertaining to client and employee confidentiality.
