Nutrien Ag Solutions is looking to add a Seed Business Development Rep for our East and Cornbelt East Regions. This role supports Nutrien's Commercial Seed business strategy by identifying potential future seed-focused candidates over a short-and-medium term timeline to deliver on the seed growth initiative. The approach includes developing the business through meaningful relationship-building, and by identifying new and potential prospects through databases, social media, and local connections. This role is also responsible for recommending qualified candidates to region / division leadership for hiring decisions in support of the business seed growth strategy. Seed Business Development Rep-IN, OH, IL, MI, PA, WI or NY What you will do: Engage in people strategy to grow Nutrien's seed business by prioritizing relationship-building and developing an expertise in understanding the future seed market and planning a people-centric approach in response. Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the relationship-building process to recommend and secure the hiring of top tier seed-focused sellers within regions and divisions. Source suitable candidates through a variety of search methods (databases, online employment forums, social media, local connections) to build a robust candidate pipeline. Collaborate with Region & Division staff as they engage in the recruitment process, to ensure they are aware of important considerations or barriers the hiring managers will need to consider, then support them in overcoming those barriers and addressing considerations to secure high potential seed-focused candidates. Assess high potential seed-focused candidate knowledge, skills, and experiences to best suit open seed-focused seller positions. May include activities such as supporting in reviewing resumes and conducting phone-screens. Participate in, and provide guidance on, the interview process by attending & conducting interviews with General Managers, Division Seed Managers, and other Region/Division stakeholders.
