SOS International LLC Site Services Manager (OCONUS) in Baghdad, Iraq, Iraq

Overview

This position is contingent upon a contract award

SOSi is seeking a Site Services Manager to support a large Base Operations Support (BOS) program providing operations & maintenance (O&M) support services to our U.S. government customer in Iraq. The program shall support O&M, full supply chain fuel services, renovation and construction projects, and other limited logistics support.

Essential Job Duties

  • The Site Services Manager will be assigned a site to provide daily oversight of service support staff.

  • Oversee the Site Services Department to include:

  • IT, SAT, & Cable TV

  • Vehicle Maintenance

  • Custodial Services

  • Residential Operations and Service Desk

  • Vector Control

  • Landscaping

  • Responsible for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, including employee performance reviews and any other first line supervisor administrative duties required.

  • Schedule personnel, including shifts and rotations, to maintain acceptable levels of service at all times, including support for short-notice projects.

  • Assign tasks, establish, and enforce standards of conduct and performance in the work environment.

  • Inspect and audit in-process and completed work to ensure work meets SOW and quality standards.

  • Plan, organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks under austere conditions to perform job functions in an orderly manner.

  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active in Scope Secret security clearance.

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited U.S. college or university in a liberal arts or business-related field; experience may be substituted in lieu of education.

  • Five years of directly relevant experience in site services on an O&M contract; two years of supervisory experience.

  • Advanced demonstrated Microsoft Office skills, to include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook.

  • Excellent demonstrated writing and speaking skills.

  • Excellent demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent demonstrated interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent demonstrated critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the U.S. Government Contracting industry.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting large O&M programs in a contingency environment.

  • Fluency in a foreign language is desired, but not required.

Work Environment

  • Willingness to live and work under environmental and other conditions that may be uncomfortable or hazardous at times.

  • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.

  • Requires periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary.

  • Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
