Lead the Commercial Architecture function for the DACH region. Support the team to provide Commercial Architecture support on Client opportunities by providing best in class commercial thought leadership, modelling, risk management and commercial innovation to optimise both our win chances and profitability.

Working at NTT

Commercial Architecture Management

  • Lead the Commercial Architecture function for the DACH sub region whilst also managing regional wide EU Commercial Architects, if required.

  • Support the VP Commercial & Strategic Sourcing in leading the EU Commercial Centre of Excellence to continually evolve, streamline and improving the output of Commercial Architecture in Europe

  • Identify inefficiencies and opportunities to free up time from the Commercial Architects through the introduction of tooling, processes and workloads which should be performed by other parts of the business

  • Build strong working relationships with the DACH management, sales, presales and finance teams to ensure clear alignment

  • Identify cross op co training opportunities to improve the knowledge sharing across Ltd and Data within the Dach sub region

  • Day to day management:

  • Implement regular team meetings

  • Identify training requirements for the team

  • Identify and manage resource constraints

  • Escalation management

Commercial Assurance and Governance

  • Responsible for guiding and training the Commercial Architecture team and the wider organisation on the correct governance procedures for Client opportunities

  • Responsible for ensuring the required Commercial Governance is followed and completed at the following levels

  • Country

  • Region (where required)

  • GTS (where required)

  • Data Inc (where required)

  • Presentation of the Commercial section of the Client opportunity on the above forums

  • Work closely with the Service Delivery Assurance and Legal to ensure alignment on their respective assurance processes

  • Use the standardised templates as agreed in the regional Commercial Centre of Excellence

Country Support

  • Provide Client facing support to the sales community

  • Provide training to the wider country teams on commercial elements which they would benefit from being aware of/trained up on

  • Build relationships with the country teams of both Ltd and Data

  • Work with the country teams to ensure they are clear on the process to follow regarding engagement of Commercial resourcing

  • Attend country qualification/governance meetings

  • Provide handover of the commercial model, commitments and terms to the accountable in country teams

  • Check and approve non-standard commercial contract terms

  • Align with external financing companies

Commercial Architecture

  • If required, take the commercial lead on client opportunities with a focus on maximising profit, identifying, and mitigating risks whilst delivering commercial innovation to ensure client needs are met and exceeded

  • Build close and strong working relationships with GTS and BS to ensure clear understanding of services, costs, margins and risks exist on each opportunity from both parties

  • Responsible for completion of:

  • Commercial Model

  • Client Pricing templates

  • Risk Register

  • P&L

  • Cash flow forecast

  • Asset Financing (where required)

  • Undertake an agency treatment assessment for each opportunity to identify which elements of the deal, if any, can be treated as agency

  • Ownership of the overall risk of the opportunity, whilst identifying areas of risk mitigation

  • Bring commercial innovation, commercial thought leadership and modelling skills to Client opportunities to differentiate NTT against our competition

  • Peer-to-peer review and brainstorming to ensure alternative views and possibilities are considered on each opportunity

  • Support the sales teams in early project phases in order to develop commercial solutions and strategies for complex deals
