Graphic Design Coordinator Location US-OH-Avon ID 2024-1444 Category Professionals Position Type S- Salary Overview SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Graphic Design Coordinator will work with the creative services manager and in-house design team to ensure the flow of graphic design jobs from initiation through full production. In addition, they will support the design team (in a design capacity) by working on production/design work which will include editing/modifying existing product packaging, promotional materials, print ads, point of purchase, displays, signage, etc. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor of Fine Arts and/or 1-3 years equivalent work experience. Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat) and Microsoft Office Suite on a Mac platform. Creative problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Strong ability to work independently and take direction from multiple people. Able to successfully manage multiple projects and prioritize within a fast-paced environment. Highly organized, detailed oriented, deadline-focused. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to work in front of a laptop or workstation for extended periods of time. Occasional standing, sitting, walking, loading, and lifting (up to 25lbs) supplies and equipment. Follow knife safety guidelines and be comfortable using sharp blades in completion of mock-ups. WORK ENVIRONMENT This is a fast-paced work environment with consistent pressure to complete duties as outlined above which requires ability to manage multiple projects at a detailed level and provide support to many internal departments in a fast-changing environment. Send and retrieve artwork files from vendors/suppliers. Coordinate proofs sent from vendor through an established approval process. Work with our translation partners to obtain requested translations. Archive closed and completed graphic projects. Support the design team with graphic production work which includes, but not limited to editing/modifying existing product packaging, collateral, tradeshow graphics, print ads, point of purchase displays, signage, mock-ups, etc. Assist with the upkeep of the production room equipment and supplies. Work with the creative services manager to evaluate the productivity of the department. Other duties as assigned by creative services manager.
