Do you have shipping experience and a sense of urgency with issue resolution? We are looking for a shipping specialist to gather requirements, plan, package, ship, communicate, and inspect all shipments for accuracy. This role requires computer skills, attention to detail and problem-solving. It also requires great verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external personnel. This is a permanent position with our client and would require a background check in before moving on to the next steps. There are a ton of great benefits and a $20/hr pay rate. Responsibilities
Performs all tasks associated with picking and packing customer orders from a pre-printed packing slip.
Verifies completed orders for accuracy.
Maintains work station supplies for packing efficiency.
Receives pre-printed stock replenishment instructions and locates stock accurately and neatly.
Reports any problems with forklift, power jacks, power lift, or scales to the Supervisor or Manager, Warehouse Operations
Assist with the movement of incoming non-inventoried materials.
Schedules pick-up for truck shipments by submitting shipping info on line.
