Job Summary The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Avient Corporation World Headquarters and assumes responsibility for maintaining the physical assets of the property. This position will be primarily responsible for general electrical maintenance. In addition, the technician will work with other team members to support a wide variety of general building maintenance, maintaining site services and manufacturing equipment repairs and services. Essential Functions Site Electrical Distribution System * Perform regular checks, calibrations and inspections of site distribution systems (4140VAC - 480VAC). Including, but not limited to, breakers, transformers, switch gear, MCC's and underground vaults. * Work with Facility engineering staff to coordinate, schedule and manage contractors for general preventative/predictive maintenance of systems as well as coordinated shutdowns of internal grid. * Make general repairs to systems and various support equipment. Support Facility/Site Utility Systems * Troubleshoot and Repair general production equipment. * Troubleshoot and Repair motors, controllers, PLC's and drives (ABB, Allen Bradley, etc.) for production and site support systems. * Membership in facility operations team which regularly performs daily checks, predictive and preventative maintenance on other utility distribution systems (Chillers, Boilers, Water distribution) Other * Complete payroll time sheets and reimbursement requests and submit to supervisor as determined. * Work within expense limits established, and maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations. * Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors. * Coordinate special projects as directed and other responsibilities as may be determined. * Responsible for alerting proper indivi
