About Us:

Airport Radio LLC is a reputable FAA 145 Aircraft Repair Station specializing in General Aviation Aircraft repair and modification. With a dedicated team of mechanics, accountants, and purchasing staff, we provide high-quality maintenance and repair services to our clients in the aviation industry. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team and drive the growth and success of our business.

Job Description:

As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our FAA 145 Aircraft Repair Station operations, including business management, project management, and employee supervision. You will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, maximize profitability, and ensure compliance with FAA regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Management: Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve company objectives, including revenue growth, cost control, and customer satisfaction.

  • Project Management: Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely completion and quality outcomes.

  • Financial Management: Manage the company's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Work closely with the accountant to analyze financial data and identify areas for improvement.

  • Employee Supervision: Lead and motivate a team of mechanics, accountants, and purchasing staff to achieve operational excellence and individual performance goals. Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback as needed.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures. Implement and maintain appropriate policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.

  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion. Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones. Explore potential partnerships, acquisitions, or diversification opportunities.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation throughout the organization. Encourage and support initiatives to streamline processes, improve productivity, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, aviation management, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the aviation industry, preferably in aircraft maintenance or repair.

  • Strong knowledge of federal regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving business growth and achieving results.

  • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and performance management.

  • Project management expertise, including planning, execution, and risk management.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
