Overview and Essential Functions

Texstar Enterprises, LLC is looking for a Warehouse Technician to join our team and help connect America. The Warehouse Technician will handle all material ordering, receive shipments, and maintain the warehouse.

What you’ll do…

  • Assess material needs

  • Create purchase orders

  • Handle the shipping and receiving of materials

  • Operate forklift to load/unload materials

  • Issue materials to the work crews

  • Resolve order discrepancies

  • Deliver accurate and timely inventory reconciliation reports

  • Reconcile inventory used versus inventory billed

  • Ensure warehouse is well organized and meets company standards

  • Provide support and documentation for audit requests

  • Update and maintain inventory database compliant with company standards

  • Assist supervisor with daily activities

  • Special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Who are we looking for…?

  • You are at least 18 years old

  • You are authorized to work in the United States for this company

  • You can lift/carry up to 75 pounds

  • You have 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations

  • You have working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word and Excel

  • You can communicate effectively with others.

  • You can work over-time; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies or on-call

  • You can maintain a safe work environment

  • You can operate a forklift

  • You have a valid Driver's license

    Qualifications…

  • Class A driver’s license preferred

  • Basic computer and mathematical skills required

  • Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes, weighing up to 50 to 100 pounds 75% of the time

  • Must be able to climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects with variable heights

  • Travel may be required

  • Experience within the warehousing/inventory environment preferred

  • Forklift experience preferred

  • Ability to apply reasoning and understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions

  • Ability to perform the physical tasks required in the position.

  • Work Standing, at shoulder height and overhead, for extended periods

  • Must be able to fill-out daily production reports, keep track of work hours.

  • Ability to work in emergencies at night and weekends if needed, including but not limited holidays and extending days.
