As a Building Management System (BMS) Application Specialist, you will be a key member in the virtualization and maintenance of enterprise BMS application systems.

Essential Responsibilities and Activities Include but are Not Limited to:

  • Configure primary and secondary virtual servers.

  • Work with local service providers to migrate BMS controllers from local administration to the enterprise virtual environment.

  • Configure network and user access.

  • Configure and test alert distribution.

  • Commission the virtualized system and perform turnover to the operations team.

  • Monitors system performance and implements performance tuning.

  • Troubleshoot system alerts and initiate service tickets.

  • Develop playbooks to document daily functions and troubleshooting process.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience programming and managing a BMS system is not required but is a major plus.

  • System experience operating any of the following BMS applications is a plus:

  • Tridium Niagara

  • Siemens Desigo CC

  • Schneider EcoStruxture

  • Alterton Compass

  • Sauter Vision Center

  • BMS application management experience with of the follow technologies is a plus:

  • Lighting Controls

  • Leakage Detection

  • Temperature Sensor

  • Compressed Air Pumps

  • Energy Power Meter

  • Indoor/ Outdoor Air Quality

  • Battery System Monitor

  • Building Shades

  • Solar Power Monitoring

  • SCADA

  • HVAC

Communication Skills:

  • Strong oral, technical writing, and presentation skills

  • Ability to build productive relationships with team members, clients and other network/system stakeholders.

Behavioral Skills:

  • Must be able to balance high quality standards with schedule pressures and a demanding environment.

  • Must be a resourceful self-starter, flexible, proactive, solution-oriented and customer-oriented.

Work Schedule:

  • Required time in the office 3 days/week. Other days can be remote.

  • On-site requirements are subject to change and could increase at any time.

Position / Candidate Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED with 6-8 years of experience

  • Or Associates with 4-6 years of experience

Pay rate: $59,025 - $94,440
