CACI is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a System Architect to support the EW/ISR Navy Surface Program. Responsible for designing system architectures and defining key capabilities and performance requirements for solutions and products that encompass non-information technology related engineering and scientific disciplines. Defines total systems design and technology maturity constraints in accordance with mission requirements. Develops system element architecture and design and interface definitions. Defines system implementation approach and operational concept. Develops models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development. Provides technical direction related to the implementation of system architecture by other staff.

More about this role:

As a forward-thinking Architect, you will lead and provide direction to a team of Engineers. You will lead process improvement and implementation activities across several disciplines including system engineering, software development, configuration management, reporting, software build and delivery, risk management, quality assurance, and customer engagement. Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government sponsors, developers, and engineers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed.

What you'll get to do:

  • Independently analyzing and recommending alternatives for elements of the program’s technical design.

  • Responsible for the technological roadmap for the program

  • Guide and drive technical collaboration and unification across the projects within the program portfolio

  • Guide and assist the PM with technical collaboration and unification across other programs within the division and operating group

  • Assist in developing a new or innovative approaches to a technical and engineering issues

  • Assist in conducting evaluations to determine suitability for project implementation

  • Analyze and propose appropriate engineering standards and processes for a project

  • Lead systems engineering activities for the program to include supervising the work of the project engineering staff and technicians.

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in Engineering Process

  • Brief stakeholders and present the status on all technical aspects of their project

  • Ensure architectural synergy across programs without compromising unique program requirements

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Must be US Citizen and be able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance - or have minimum Secret with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and 7+ years of systems engineering experience. OR

  • A High School Diploma or GED and 12+ years of general systems engineering experience. OR

  • A Master’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and years of systems engineering experience. OR

  • A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and 7+ years of systems engineering experience.

  • Proven Engineering Leadership Capabilities

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Have experience with CI/CD Pipelines and DEVSECOPS

  • Experience working on Navy/DoD projects and programs

  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification (CSEP) or Expert Systems Engineering Professional certification desired.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$89,500-$188,000
