Amazon Sr. Product Manager, NA Stores - Selection in Austin, Texas

Description

The Selection PM will directly drive growth of a critical element of the "flywheel" - Selection - for our customers across US and collaborate with peers WW. The role requires extensive collaboration with internal teams across both Tech and Business, to improve quality and actionability of selection data, and to accelerate selection onboarding at scale.

Key job responsibilities

Amazon aims to offer the largest selection to our customers. Expanding selection is critical to provide the best customer experience to our customers. The Sr. Product manager will:

  1. Work with NA Stores Category teams to fill the gaps towards our goal to offer 100% of selection for the most important brands.

  2. Drive selection monitoring and addition programs including Buyability, Brand Coverage and define the strategy for new brands

  3. Use the selection data as provided by the central teams to identify top needle moving improvements

  4. Establish the goals and strategy of new products and enhancements for NA Selection

  5. Manage prioritization and trade-offs among selling partner and customer experience, and operational support load.

  6. The position enjoys high visibility and exposure to NA and WW leadership. The PM will lead weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews with Senior Leadership and stakeholders, highlighting roadmap progress, business impact, adoption and utilization metrics, and future opportunities.

ACES Selection seeks to drive growth of Selection important to our customers across US and other locales, through the key input of Selection. Our goals are focused on on-boarding new brands and augmenting the product catalog from existing supplier partners. We collaborate across multiple internal teams across both Tech and Business teams to improve quality and actionability of selection data, to onboard selection faster and at scale.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
