JOB SUMMARY :

The Senior Manager, BLT Implementation & Sustainability will be responsible for implementing and driving the BLT Discipline (4DX) plan across all US + Canada Managed brands. This resource will manage all training activities related to implementation; ensuring trainings are well-planned, well-executed, carefully communicated, effectively measured, and their sustainment planned for. This position will report to the Senior Director, BLT Implementation & Sustainability.

Experience and Education

Required

  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university OR equivalent years of relevant work experience

  • 5+ years experience in hospitality, lodging, or other relevant area

  • Strong consulting skills and ability to interface with Senior business leaders

  • Strong program and/or project management skills

  • Experience in training, development, and implementation

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time

Preferred:

  • Prior experience with BLT and 4DX/Covey Software

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with team members, internal stakeholders, and external constituents; ability to influence change through these relationships

  • Experience in change and learning management

  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a matrixed structure and delivering against the objectives of assignments to meet time, budget, and quality criteria.

  • Multi-lingual proficiency in English and Spanish

  • Excellent listening and documentation skills

  • Solid organizational and analytical skills for planning, coordinating and monitoring implementations

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Leads action planning and provides recommendations based on data from 4DX checklist in order to address gaps

  • Partners with Senior Director to ensure alignment in consistency across Brand, Continent, and Market Initiatives to pull through in course content

  • Partners with Area Director of Operations/Regional Senior Directors (ADOPs/RSDs) and General Managers (GMs) to facilitate alignment and development in communication deliverables, while focusing on the annual and ongoing prioritization of initiatives.

  • Identifies trends, successes, and areas of need or opportunity. Provides recommendations for alternative solutions.

  • Leads executive coaching sessions with property leadership and identify gaps for ADOPs/RSDs

  • Drives multiple priorities and aligns to accountable resources goals and objectives, can be implemented and sustained in the Market, and completed within the parameters of agreed upon project scope

  • Identifies gaps and documents trends in training processes and develops strategies to improve both training implementation tools and processes and team performance

  • Manages standard training implementation and sustainment and reflects change management methodologies (with goal of making implementations as effective as possible)

  • Collaborates and consults with Franklin Covey Senior Leaders, Area Vice Presidents (AVPs), and ADOPs/RSDs, and hotel stakeholders to capture feedback, resolve issues, and facilitate cross-group discussions and incorporate that information into implementations

  • Executes training with leadership, lead reporting, evaluations, and needs analysis

  • Manages appropriate utilization of trainings while managing costs and supporting business objectives

  • Monitors and manages the implementation process of properties; determine risks to the success of the property activation and manage escalation programs and processes

  • Leads property teams to carry out process of Wildly Important Goals (WIGs), lead measures, and scoreboards as needed

  • Partners with corporate and project leadership teams and make recommendations for project direction to achieve results

  • Creates metric mechanism for tracking red hotels, and remains accountable for providing recommended action plans to market AVPs

  • Partners with Covey/ADOPs/RSDs to support logistics for Covey 4DX roll out sessions

  • Perform other duties as assigned

California Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $96,038.00 to $209,169.00 annually.

Colorado Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $96,038.00 to $190,154.00 annually.

Hawaii Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $116,205.00 to $209,169.00 annually.

New York Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $96,038.00 to $209,169.00 annually.

Washington Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $96,038.00 to $209,169.00 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus. Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
