About The Role:

The Solutions Consultant role at LINQ is a key position responsible for effectively communicating and demonstrating the value of LINQ as a partner to K-12 Education. As the ambassador and expert on LINQ solutions, you will play a crucial role in delivering compelling presentations that enhance the buyer journey and contribute to closing and retaining business.

At LINQ, we prioritize our culture, and as a Solutions Consultant, you will become part of a close-knit community of presales professionals. You will also have the opportunity to support some of the best sales representatives in the K-12 technology space.

In this role, you will enjoy a flexible working environment, engaging in various tasks such as collaborating on market messaging, understanding the needs of clients and prospects, crafting persuasive stories and messages, configuring solutions, and delivering presentations.

As a Solution Consultant, you will be seen as a trusted advisor within the organization. Your responsibilities will include supporting sales teams in opportunity management, strategy development, conducting discovery sessions, responding to requests for proposals (RFPs), enabling sales tools, fostering internal collaboration, and engaging in strategic work across departments.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Deliver compelling and dynamic presentations, demonstrations, conferences, workshops, and seminars of LINQ's solutions and enterprise story.

• Assist in the sales development/discovery process to understand the needs of potential clients.

Utilize advanced storytelling techniques to effectively communicate LINQ's value proposition.

• Assist in closing sales opportunities by demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of our solutions, services, and training.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to align messaging strategies.

• Develop in-depth knowledge of multiple solutions across the LINQ platform.

• Provide field-based feedback to our development team regarding enhancements based on market needs.

• Support sales methodology execution, including strategy development with internal resources tailored to each sales opportunity.

• Respond to RFPs/RFIs and assist with final production, such as executive summaries.

• Address complex questions from existing and potential clients.

• Support the smooth handoff of customers from Sales to our Services organization after the close of a complex sale.

• Assist with implementation, support, and customer retention as needed.

• Travel is required, ranging from 50-75% and occasionally on short notice.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience in ERP software with a combination of technical skills, business acumen, enterprise reporting and project management capabilities to successfully implement and leverage ERP systems to support organizational objectives.

• Ability to quickly learn new technology and software across multiple domains of school business software.

• Proficiency in delivering compelling visionary presentations with advanced skills in audience engagement, storytelling, and the use of technology tools.

• Prior experience in presales, consulting, or training in ERP and/or Technology.

• Ability to effectively manage multiple challenging and rewarding projects simultaneously.

• Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.

• Strong team-oriented mindset.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Demonstrates exceptional cross-group collaboration and general management skills, with the ability to build relationships within an organization.
