Duties: Design and develop large scale digital simulation software. Design and implement solutions for parsing, elaborating and simulating a digital design description. Develop high performance algorithms and parallel software architecture to simulate the design faster. Develop software architecture for fast turnaround time to re-simulate a design for effective debug. Develop APIs and reusable simulator components to plug in various other services to the core simulator. Support advancements in hardware description languages like SV and VHDL by implementing required features in the simulator. Collaborate with cross functional teams and other research and development teams in various geographic locations to solve technical challenges.

Requirements : Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer-related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: 4 years of experience programming in C/C++ with UNIX or LINUX platforms; 3 years of experience Working with software algorithms used for electronic design automation; 2 years of experience with compiler design, HDL parsers, and design elaboration; Working with hardware description languages (HDL) and hardware verification languages (HVL); Working with digital design, simulation and verification with emphasis on simulation or emulation techniques; Working with client server software architectures; Working with data structures and algorithms applicable to digital IC verification; Working with high performance computing (HPC) involving multi­threading, multi-core, and distributed computing. 50% telecommuting is permitted within a commutable distance . 30% domestic and international travel is required.
