Pre-Professional Applications Coach

. The Pre-Professional Applications Coach is a seasonal position in Career and Professional Development, responsible for coaching pre-health and pre-law students on key components of their applications to professional school. The Pre-Professional Applications Coach will be responsible for reviewing and critiquing personal statements, professional school applications, and practice interviews for students in their application season for professional school. This is a part-time, non-benefits eligible, seasonal position (February 15-August 15) reporting to the Director of Career and Professional Development.

For consideration, a minimum of one year of professional work experience. Bachelor's degree in counseling, higher education, or related field. Prior professional experience in college career counseling, pre-health advising and/or graduate program relations. Understanding of multiple areas of professional development pertaining to job search, application, interview process, and graduate/professional school admission process. Knowledge and familiarity of pre-health admissions processes. Strong writing, presentation, and oral communication skills. Must be able to comply with workplace guidelines and attendance requirements. Ability to contribute to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds in accordance with the Holy Cross. Must possess the ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
