Program Coordination: Coordinate, plan, and execute all aspects ofdepartments summer academies from creation to completion. Coordinate with faculty leading academies. Manage academy applications and selections. Manage direct communications with participants and guardians to ensure a seamless experience from registration through attendance. Create and execute academy schedules. Coordinate and collaborate with other UT offices and programs (e.g. Admissions, Youth Protection Program, University Housing and Dining).Administrative Support and Event Management: Daily on-site event management of academies. Maintain detailed records of current and previous students and participants. Keep records of academy activities and initiatives for reporting. Manage academy budgets and purchasing needs. Ensure completion and processing of invoices, scholarships, and other academy related expenses.Communication and Media Development: Design and distribute recruitment materials, informational documents, and event announcements. Develop and implement social media campaigns. Maintain academy websites. Develop and execute marketing plan for tuition-based academies. Community Partnerships and Engagement: Create engagement opportunities for industry partners. Manage grant funding, and reporting requirements. Contribute to grant applications.Staff Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise program and resident assistants, and temporary academy staff. Ensure all staff adhere to policies set by the UT Youth Protection Program office.Outreach and Recruitment Event Representative: Coordinate department involvement in university K-12 outreach activities such as Explore UT and Girl Day. RepresentUT Computer Scienceat K-12 STEM events, conferences, and onsite information sessions, as needed.
